Day 1
Arrive Khajuraho
Upon arrival at Khajuraho Airport or Railway Station, transfer to your hotel. In the evening, you may attend the Sound & Light Show (optional) at the Western Group of Temples. This captivating 50-minute show narrates the story of the Chandela dynasty and the creation of these incredible temples from the 10th century onward. Available in both Hindi and English, the show adds a dramatic introduction to Khajuraho’s history. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2
Khajuraho Sightseeing
After breakfast, begin a guided exploration of the Western and Eastern Group of Temples. The Western Group, enclosed within a single entry point, is the main attraction and features the most elaborate sculptures and temple architecture. Then visit the Eastern Group, located near Khajur Sagar and the old village, home to temples reflecting both Jain and Hindu traditions—along with an ancient, still-worshipped Hanuman statue. The afternoon is free for leisure activities or independent exploration. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3
Panna National Park Excursion
After a relaxed morning and breakfast, depart around noon for a half-day excursion to Panna National Park, approximately 28 km from Khajuraho. Enjoy an afternoon jungle safari in this scenic and biodiverse reserve, home to tigers, leopards, and a variety of birdlife. After the safari, return to Khajuraho for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4
Departure from Khajuraho
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Khajuraho Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey, taking with you memories of art, spirituality, and nature at their finest.
